The made to order terrazzo countertops and back splash harmoniously blend the floor tile, the butchers block countertops of the moving islands and the bamboo cabinet fronts in this minimal and warm open kitchen. The chrome plated brass with cast concrete sconces from the early 80’s by Charles Pfister for Boyd Lighting were a serendipitous find to add some character.

The living room is grounded in a velvet and botanical deep green and framed with a vintage floor lamp in steel and a fair-trade wool rug. The custom nesting coffee tables are made with up-cycled Italian statuary marble.
