The brief for this turnkey home in Miami, aptly named Las Palmas, was to decorate a space where the architect, Charles Sieger, created soaring ceilings and glass walls to welcome views of the expansive and lush backyard.
At the entrance of this lofted home, vintage sculptural pencil reed lounge chairs in the manner of Betty Cobonpue greet you. Organic blue wavy wall artwork picks up on the hue of the pool visible in the adjacent view, while a colorful metal side table grounds the area. The curated collection of furniture throughout the space draws the eye from piece to piece, inviting one to linger and take in the full design.
We approached this decor project with intention—layering in custom designs and artwork, and sourcing sustainably through secondhand markets, where 90% of the procurement took place.
